The North Island College Faculty Association (NICFA) is the sole bargaining agent for approximately 200 faculty members at North Island College.

NICFA is a member (Local 16) of the Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of British Columbia, and is affiliated with the Canadian Association of University Teachers, the Canadian Labour Congress and the British Columbia Federation of Labour.

Our members are spread over four main campuses, in the Comox Valley, Campbell River, Port Alberni and Port Hardy. We also have members in the Bella Coola, Cortes Island, Gold River and Ucluelet Centres.
